Seek Advise

Hi Folks,
I currently have a 2007 WK that is going on 9 yrs. old. I have been thinking about upgrading to a WK2 and was wondering what ,if any ,were chronic problems with the WK2. I bought my WK new but my first choice would be a CPO rather than new provided I could find what I want. Just thinking at this point , I still love my 2007 but I like the newer GC also. Thanks in advance!

Re: Seek Advise

If you can get a new vehicle financially, that's what I would do. My MY11 had 53,000 trouble free miles and my MY15 has 18,000+ miles with no issues other than lame Bluetooth connectibility.

I have a 2014...18000 miles haven't had any chronic problems but here's the issues I did have.

XM radio and nav stopped working...3 radios later fixed
Antenna replaced
Fuel door cover housing replaced was out of alignment
Rear AC vent was disconnected (from factory) and had to be reconnected
Transmission flashes updates for better shifts

All done under warranty. BTW I LOVE my Jeep!

Re: Seek Advise

I have had a 2012 Overland V6, a 2014 Summit V8...zero issues, both great vehicles. Now in a 2015 High Alitude V6 and love it!! Try and get yourself a 2014+ as they are more or less as good as a completely different vehicle compared to the '11-'13 even though it's only a "refresh". I guess the only thing I can advise is if you are buying used, maybe avoid early built 2014 models. To make it easy, any 2014 with manufactured date in 2013 I would skip. Doesn't mean they are all bad, but might as well play it safe.
