Seeking a photo of the limited or overland in Deep Cherry Red

Hello to all.

If anyone has a photo of the limited or overland in deep cherry red, please post it here.

We will soon be placing and order for a new Overland (from Australia) and as the vehicle is for my wife, she is struggling with choosing the colour. Current selection is either Mineral Grey (plenty of pics on the forum) or Deep Cherry Red.

Unfortunately we can only find pics of the SRT8 in Deep Cherry Red or the limited / overland in inferno.

Any pics of the limited or overland in deep cherry red would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Swampy

Thanks for that.

However Inferno Red is being replaced by Deep Cherry Red for MY12.

I just can't seem to find a pic with Deep Cherry Red, other than the SRT8.

deep cherry should be showing up soon at dealers here. Its a brand new color for the wk2...so thereare no pics. The SRT pics you see are NOT deep cherry

Re: Seeking a photo of the limited or overland in Deep Cherry Red

Thanks for the posts and the photos.

We've seen the compass pics before and one thing we notice is that the colour changes significantly depending on the amount of light, from a dark red in overcast conditions to a red with a pinky hue in sunlight.

I Guess we'll just have to wait until we see the Grand Cherokee in Cherry Red before placing our order as colours can be quite "car specific". Sometimes a colour may look good on one model and not so good on another.

The Mineral Grey may just be the safer bet.

Swampy, just to clarify, that Godawful Compass is not deep cheery red mate.

Re: Seeking a photo of the limited or overland in Deep Cherry Red

What color is it? All of the dealer sites I was looking at (and pulled some of these pics from) list it as Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl. I'm not asking to be a smart-ass, I'm asking because I ordered a 2012 in this color and have been staring at all of these different pics considering the same question as swampy I'd like to know if I'm looking at the wrong thing.

I definitely agree with the change in color and even the look on different vehicles. I've been to a few lots and have seen quite a few cars with Deep Cherry Red listed on the sticker. I don't like the cars in that color, but I tend to like the SUVs. Still has a slight pink tint in the right light which I'm not too fond of. Oh well....we'll see when my order comes in

Re: Seeking a photo of the limited or overland in Deep Cherry Red

A dealer just trotted out a wannabe 2012 Jeep (Patriot I believe) in deep cherry red. Even in bright sunlight it's mighty dark, almost like a maroon. Nobody will mistake it for a rapist-red Ferrari, but it's not far from the marginally more exciting 2011 Inferno.

It's not terribly exciting, but good enough for my red-worshiping (auburn-haired) wife.

Re: Seeking a photo of the limited or overland in Deep Cherry Red

The Comment from Scottina06 has thrown me as well, saying that the SRT pics we have been seeing is not Deep Cherry Red.

I really did think that the pic attached was Deep Cherry Red.

Confused as ever.

Re: Seeking a photo of the limited or overland in Deep Cherry Red

I believe the SRT above is a pre-production and is INFERNO.

The Compass further up the page looks to be RED ROCK.

Deep Cherry definately has a pink tinge to it. There is pics of it on the forum on a sedan.

The Compass comes in Deep Cherry Red in 2011 already.

Here's a Chrysler Town & Country in Deep Cherry Red:
