Select trac system questions.

I have a 2013 trail hawk with the select trac system. Can someone explain to me what in fact the differences are in the different settings. When I look at it, it makes me think they are all the same and it's just a gimmick. I've looked online all weekend and I don't really see where it's broken down and explained. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Select trac system questions.

You should be locking for select terrain. select trac is an older style transfer case.

Re: Select trac system questions.

There is a noticeable difference between Auto and Snow mode. When I floor the Hemi on packed snow in Auto mode the vehicle does not handle it well. In Snow mode it a accelerates quickly and smoothly with complete control.

Re: Select trac system questions.

By my "seat of the pants" dyno, it feels as if the transmission shift points are at higher revs in "Sport" mode. I could be wrong.....ask my ex.
