You're kidding right? Yes the STI is fun to drive, but you don't get good gas mileage...not with the 2.5L. I traded in my 2012 STI for my 2014 V6 GC 4x4 last April, and with a Cobb stage 1 tune, the best I got was 19 mpg...and that's with 93 octane gas.
I now average
22 mpg (I once saw 26 mpg on a long trip), and that's on 87 octane gas...which is 30 cents a gallon less
I also like the extended range I now get with my 2014 GC, I usually go about 425 miles on a tank (almost TWICE
the range than my STI) , and I haven't even made the switch to Mobil 1 yet!
