Your new baby is just like what I traded in last August; it somehow ended up at Mall of Georgia CDJ... was traded or auctioned, but was in showroom condition w/ ~64,000 miles. I miss the Hemi, but like the new one, too.

Re: Serious Snow Finally!

Horrible Cell Phone picture, but this what we ended up with in the first round yesterday. Got another ~2" last night and then it all iced up this morning when temps dropped.

This one came out of Ohio and made its way to Charleston, SC. My son in the Air Force there picked it up for me.

Re: Serious Snow Finally!

Huge amounts of snow everywhere else...but here in the Sierras, a breezy 60 degrees. WTF nature.

Good luck and be safe, everyone who is being hit by the storms!

Lucky. SE Wisconsin keeps getting narrowly missed with these big storms.

I was going to say the same thing. Half the reason I got the Jeep was for winter and I've only gotten to play in proper deep snow once so far. I feel ripped off. Gimmie a foot!!!!!!

Steve "Wombat1" from Trappe, Pa near Valley Forge. We already had 8" of snow, then got 12" with this recent storm, expecting a couple more inches Saturday. I own a 2014 JGC Overland. Been running it with Hankook I-Pike RW 11 snow tires this winter which have been working well with all this snow. I've attached a couple of pics I took today in Valley Forge Park. George Washington would've loved to have a Jeep the Winter of 1777/1778 to out maneuver the British.

Hi Steve "Wombat" (hilarious) from Trappe; I am in Downingtown with the Limited with I-Pikes. As I said in a previous post, no problem running thru 14,15,16 inches plus of unplowed roads the other day; love your Jeep; aren't they fun?! Dave

Hey Downingtown Dave
Thanks for input on the I-Pikes; just getting my chance to test them out with this last storm. Missed previous storms I was in Florida helping my brother recover from major surgery. Here's a pic I took in Utah at Christmas outside a movie theater. No more parking spots this jeep owner improvised.

I drove around two-inches off the ground for two winters and we got annihilated each of those years. One of those days we had 2 feet in about 18-hours.

Now that I have a Jeep the most we have had was 4, maybe 5 inches.

Re: Serious Snow Finally!

NoVa got 10-ish. At almost 40k miles, the OEM Goodyears are worthless to me. It did better in "Sand Mode" than anything else. Should have swapped them out in the fall but I decided to be cheap and wear them out.
