Re: Service Dealership in Seattle Area

The other thing I want to take a look at is the Forward Collision Warning problem.

I live in north Bothell. Dwayne Lanes Jeep in Everett is my nearest dealership (and where I go). They've been pretty good. I just don't like the wait time for drive-up service but what can you expect?

I bought my '14 Overland from Bellevue Jeep - excellent dealership.

Re: Service Dealership in Seattle Area

We are in the Coeur d'Alene Idaho area on Interstate 90 along your route to Seattle about 250 miles east. Just had the oil changed for the second time today at Findlay Jeep, which is 2 minutes off I90 in Post Falls, ID, which is adjacent to Cd'A. We've only had oil changes and recalls done but have been happy with their service.

You might also check out Dave Smith Motors, the largest Dodge dealer in the world, which is in tiny Kellogg, Idaho along I90 about 45 minutes drive east of Coeur d'Alene. They are, of course, a Jeep dealer also.

We bought our car from Enumclaw Jeep in Enumclaw (Seattle area, out in the country). I am a deal hound and bought there instead of local. Very impressed with the buying experience. Enumclaw is affiliated with Tacoma Jeep, which is about as big a dealer as they get.

I usually drive over Seattle using I-90, but I am taking the southern route this time, going through Denver, Salt Lake City and Boise.

I only use those car washes with a "touchless" setting. No brushes touches my vehicle.

No matter what you do, it's going to get filthy. Best to just wash it when you get home.

I did a 4900 mile road trip that lasted 2 weeks and 4 days back in May.

Any car wash you would suggested? Is there a car wash that can clean the interior as well in the area?

I don't know where exactly you'll be in Bothell, but go here for a brushless. You also get the option for brush too. My buddy has no issues using their brush, but I do see minor scratches that he can't. If you do it late, I think after 10PM, the price is discounted.

They have vacuums you can use to clean interior.

If you go during the day, they have a "detail" shop, but I never use it.

I only go through the carwash to knock off the big junk, then handwash with ONR at home. You have to understand the limitation of a brushless wash. Your car will still be dirty.

Couldn't take my car to get the recall done afterall this week. It's still in the body shop. Was suppose to be done yesterday, but they claim they were sent the wrong part and should be done today....

I'd check out Car Wash Palace in Kenmore. It's self service but the soaps etc are excellent!
