Not to make you feel bad, but one leg is shorter than the other.

To: MDBONES - and to you all, as well really. This new photo, the follow up to the campsite shot that I eluded too couple posts prior (of me at the lake), shows me sitting, so MD, you can't tell "one leg is shorter than the other," but thought it be nice for all to see what Occupies much of my endlessly (otherwise) boring life ! so here goes, can we get her on here?

pssst, hey MD, sorry man I couldn't resist a little dry-humor on ya ! Have you squirming a bit ? My legs are fine, both the same size (hmmm, least I hope so; I did have that partial L1 disc removal the prior year of the photo ! True!).
As far as the coffee ? Back then when I was still "allowed" to indulge, my favorite Evening after dinner coffee "sweetener" was 12 yr. old scotch - in my little fly fishing emblazoned pocket flask. Shush, don't tell the Rangers.

edit; promise to have some sort of Jeep photos SOON. They may not be all fancied up and the "Recon-izer" may not be all shiny, but soon.

It doesn't look like they are biting. I guess somebody had convenience store sushi for supper that night.

Sushi ? Yuk ! Actually the photo, taken about midday, was before the onslaught Hexagenia Hatch about an hour before dusk - talk about WOW !
I'd never seen such a spectacle before, well except for the October Caddis hatches way up on the Upper Columbia River (north of the town of Northport, Washington, about 12 miles south of the Canadian border - google map it !).
Both these insects are LARGE (trout love 'em both, at different times of the year). I was literally "surrounded" in a dome of these big beauties not more than 50 feet from where the photo was taken, and the trout were "sipping them down" in their emerger stage (just prior to breaking thru the surface film into "adulthood" ("you've got wings" ! ha ha). Surrounded in a fog of Hex's & Big Trout just below me . . . No camera, and not one of 'em wanted any "imitation" I cast to them . . . ! So, that evening I brewed up a little extra special coffee treat (2 shots, not 1 . . . Mmmmm). Slept like a baby in the back !
ps; All True Governor . . . and MD, if your eavesdropping !

edit; ps: I catch n' release 99% (gives me and them a good feeling !).
and for dinner I don't recall; probably steak & potatoes ?

Nothing too crazy, no rock crawling, just some time in nature.

QUESTION ? Perhaps SRT could chime in as was the case in helping me "crack the code" of getting my photos on here ! The question is; are Vimeo & YouTube the only way (i.e.; 3rd party) to do this, OR will I be able JUST by using (again) my Mac-mini downloaded videos in my iVideo app. in much the same way I did for the photos via iPhoto app. ? I did notice the video choice when doing my photos when going "advanced" process.
Who knows I could become the next Spielberg !

THAT, is NOT a negative comment by the way, I truly am Thankful ! I do have 1 other photo 2 hrs later of me sitting on a rock at lakeside (somewhere!) with the raft inflated and fly rod in-hand !
It is a 2008 pic. in a rustic camp site (no pavement, no hookups - just the way I prefer).
ps; no the bright spot in the upper right is not a UFO . . . the original photo is a 4X6 and I had to get very close to fill the digital screen . . . the flash is the flash (obviously). Sorry Scully, the truth is still "out their" just probably at a different camp site, hee hee ! ? My former and soonish once again . . . StowAway2 Carrier on Swing Away Frame. Yea that's me at 6 ft. 205 lbs.! Today, still 6 ft. but only 185 ! It's amazingly (scary) what a wayward protein can do to you ! Nothing Better than an Excellently Perked batch of Excellent Coffee can do to get the Fly Fishing Juices going . . . Mmmm ! By the way I also had cooked an Awesome breakfast Scramble - Luigi's 3 egg veggie, potato and Canadian ham Combo. The combo includes toasted muffin and of course the cups of Excellent Coffee. Oh, did I say the coffee was good ? Thanks again SRT. I feel "liberated".

As Promised, and knowing the anticipation has been overwhelming, , here are some "jeep-trail level -0.001 "action" photos of My New 75th G.C. Laredo
that I have "pegged" - the 'Recon-izer' ! !

No comparison to the 1500, so much nicer in the Recon-izer; and some day before my journey to Colorado's backcountry I hope to have a new StowAway2 in the hitch as well !
