Awesome that would be great. About the only thing I was familiar with in all that fun to be was the mention of Mount Washington. Look forward to some great photos and perhaps some good feedback on how your WK2's functionality came into play. BE safe, stay safe, good journey.

trying to "help" would simply been a lot easier on all of us by just saying THAT up front and giving me (& perhaps others) the "where to look" . . . but thank you Jim for trying . . . and I too hope to see the last of "this" kind of conversation.

HEY, CHIN UP, KEEP THE WK2's snapshots in time coming ! First one with a 2017 GC Trailhawk off road wins the door prize !

Re: Show & tell - wk2 photos off roading "proof"

I've taken every GC I've owned off road. 2012 Laredo E with ORA-I, 2014 Limited with ORA-I and 2016 Limited 75th with ORA-II. All of these taken within a week of me buying it, except the 2012 - that one was a couple months after, and nowhere "fun". I wasn't overly bothered by taking something that expensive into the woods.

Your Laredo E with ORA-1 is what I plan on building -2017 version of ! What can you tell us about your experiences using the ORA-1 in its "intended" capacity - Off Road Adventuring ! ? Any hiccups in the selector dial or other items that gave you "issues" that may of cost you some $$$ ? Did you own it for only 2 years then get the '14 Limited ? The 75th photo shows the Laredo wheel - yes ? I came very close to opting for that, but not caring to have all the electronic gizmos I opted out. My Laredo will be the E - but only for the power drivers seat (real back issues), a HEFTY $$$ to pay but . . . ?
Other than the ORA-1 and the E I think that will do. I will add better off road worthy tires - will have the dealer change them out before I take delivery !
If you get to taking some "adventure shots" of the Newbie 75th I think many here would care greatly to see.

I kept my '12 for 13 months, I picked it up in Jan 2012 and bought my '14 in Feb 2013 - only money I spent on it was oil changes. QT-II had no problems wherever I took it and in the little bit of snow I had it in, no issues with the dial or any other electronics. I replaced it because I found myself wanting when I drove it - the 5 speed tranny was sh*t, I wanted a leather interior and I wanted the 8.4AN sound system. Got a good deal on the '14 through the group buy and bought it. Kept the '14 for 3 years, it took 2 feet of snow and having the front end buried in a 6 foot snow drift like a champ. Traded it with 54,000 miles on it for the 2016 because I liked the 75th and got another deal through the group buy. ORA-II on the 75th comes with the 18" rims, I assume they're the same ones on the Laredo, I don't know - I never looked at the Laredo 75th.

Keep in mind that when you start the JGC it will default to AUTO mode. If you are in soft sand it may try to bury itself when you take off. You should switch it to SAND mode to avoid this. It performed great in the sand with AT tires.

Here you go Fly. There's dust on the wheels of the Jeep. No power connected to the caravan. Just missing the trout.

Here's some vids too

Mostly Downunder (Australia) related. I still can't work out what you yanks mean when you 'mall crawl'. Is it like a 'pub crawl'?

A "mall crawler" or "mall rated" is in reference to women using it to go to the shopping malls. Or, never using it off road.
