The first three pics didn't upload. I'll try again.

From this sign we knew we had left California and had entered Oregon.

Out on the beach we came upon Zachary and Jonathan stuck in their van, and we stopped to help them out.

That's a beautiful drive around Crater Lake. Wish I could've gone around the whole lake but most of it was still closed by snow when I was there.

Looks fantastic! Is there a good online resource for finding these types of off road 'trails'?
We are in Issaquah Washington and i'd like to do some mild off road adventuring
Thx!

Nice photos brad908. The camping looks serene, peaceful, quiet.

Thank you. I love all of Washington, but not much beats hiking in the North Cascades

I usually just scroll around on google earth and look for the forest roads. When I go out to Washington I spend a lot of time on Highway 2, and really like the Skykomish/Steven's Pass area. Feel free to PM me if you want a few tips for that area.

For reference from the Washington pictures above: the first one is Skykomish, second is near Cape Flattery, third is near Cape Flattery, 4th (foggy one) is Skykomish, and 5th (ferns) is Baker Lake.

Thanks! We try to stick to National Forests for dispersed camping for the peace and quiet.
