I did revisit many times over the next decade, especially when Stationed in Groton, CT. (Navy 1990-'92). The NW corner of CT. had (still has) some fine Blue Ribbon Rivers too. I currently reside in Eastern WA. - "supposedly" the "dry side" . I may have to take a long trip back ! ?
What college? My dad used to teach at RPI in Troy. My home town is Latham.

Well since my home town is Latham, I just might make it back there and take you up on that.

That's a good idea. I'll do the same thing, any JG member to visit Sunnyvale CA, I'll offer a Starbucks or Peet's or Philz cup of drip coffee. Likewise, restrictions may apply. It'd be nice to meet some JG members.

Re: Show & tell - wk2 photos off roading "proof"

Last December playing around a known 4x4 spot in El Paso TX. I was very surprised at how capable Quadra Trac 1 is. It pretty much tackled everything I threw at it. My brother in his big tire Samurai build, couldn't believe I was right behind him all the way.

The picture is a little grainy because I extracted it from a video my brother took. Sorry.

Hilarious! Does the "offer" come with cream & sugar, or is that 1 of the "restrictions"? Is Dunkin' now just dunking'? No more Donuts? Come-on, gotta at least have 1 plain donut too! !

I've never been to Albany, but I hear that Politicians & Lawyers are the same everywhere . . . ! I, along with 3 buddies, drove around it back in 1973 on our way to Canada! No we were not dodging the draft.
Headed up to Algonquin Provincial Park for a 10 day Camp, Fish, Canoe extravaganza ! THAT experience got me "hooked" on the Camping and reintroduced me to the fly fishing too.

Oh, thanks bye the way, I will now add Albany (and that free medium Dunkin', it is free ain't it?) to my "TO DO" List before I die! .

ECHO, you misunderstood, or rather I left out a word ("FOR" College) I left N.Y. (Long Island to be more precise) "FOR" College (again)! Confusing?
YUP! Well I got my A.A.S.(2yr.) Degree at SUNY Farmingdale (L.I.) and a year later decided to go back to school "OUT in the WILD WILD WEST" (Logan, Utah). Fisheries Biology. Hmmm, it all seems to lead back to my "Pisces" Roots (fish/water). It's a wonder I don't have tiny gills behind my ears (waterworld). Even my 20 years in the Navy (salty water).

Well, member guys or gals let me extend a similar offer - to anyone inclined with a strong desire to learn the ins & outs of Fly Fishing I offer (free) lessons here in Eastern WA. ! Must bring your own coffee. and provide your own accommodations, especially if we take a few days and try to catch some Big Rainbow trout on my favorite River.

That's all for now.

Technically it's Dunkin' Donuts, but I did not want to deceive anyone as my offer is just for coffee. In that they are a New England chain we seem to have a shop about every mile on every east/west running road. And they are all successful. It appears that you and I are the same age. We should not be eating donuts.

Hi AAAA, I too am very familiar with the "DD's"! Between them & White Castle, geez, what can go wrong? Yea you are right, I do need to stay off the "fried food" stuff too, already had one Aortic Aneurism (thank god for spell check!) in 1999 (back when we all "Partied Like It Was 1999). Cholesterol IS NO joke ! ! ! OUCH.
ps; I ALWAYS check the labels on "stuff" I buy to put in my gut - no or low cholesterol & no or low saturated fats are a Priority ! Thanks for the tip though, "Dr. Doom!".

WAY TO BREAK'ER IN ! I DON'T THINK I WOULD/COULD TAKE MY "REGULAR" TRAIL RATED '16 75TH ON A WELL RUTTED TRAIL SUCH AS THIS ! ?

Tires, Tire Pressure, Experience and "Pucker Factor," I bet, all play into the Go or No Go Decision ! ?

On the beach in NC. The sand was deep. Picture doesn't do it justice. Can't beat opening your door to the ocean.

Ocean views and beaches -- absolutely. Such relaxing views. Pismo Beach, Oregon state, all of Mexico(!) and more.

Be sure to clean the salt from underneath your rig, salt not just from the water but also from the sand. I slide something like this lawn sprinkler underneath my rig and run it for a few minutes, as a suggestion, it's easy, and those sprinklers are cheap.
