Side Mirror Glass Removal

Hey everyone. I've got a rattle coming from the driver's side door mirror. I've isolated it to the plastic LED turn signal cover. When I have the audio system turned up, the bass causes the plastic cover to rattle. If I just place my finger on the cover, the rattle stops.

Is there a way to remove the side mirror glass to get behind it? I want to see if there is a screw or something that needs to be tightened on the inside.

Push the mirror glass all the way to the outside and then grab it and pop it off. It takes some force. It will be connected to.3 or 4 wires. Pull them off and the glass will be removed.

Fyi-its just held in by tension clips

Ok thanks. I really don't want to break the glass.

Would be better if you keep that spare mirror in case it DOES break.
I need to pull mine to check and see if anything has gotten down into the innards of
the mirror extend/retract.
There are Utube videos, but the thought of yanking on the mirror just sorta makes me nervous.

Re: Side Mirror Glass Removal

Got the mirror off. Looked inside and the side blinker housing IS loose. Not sure how to tighten it though. Maybe some black tape.....
