Side pillar trim coming off? Need opinions

Hi everyone im new to the forum. My name is blake, im 20 from Australia and just picked up a 2014 grand cherokee larado almost 2 weeks ago.

So i love the car and have had no trouble with it until now thanks to the dealership, so when i went to pick up the car i noticed on one of the rear doors above the window the chrome trim was damaged and looked like it had been hacked at so they replaced it while i waiting and that was that. So now 2 weeks later i notice the door pillar trim that meets the chrome trim is starting to peel off and its obvious that they pulled that off first to fix the trim then stuck it back down. So the problem im facing is if i should fix it myself with some jb weld or something or wait 3 weeks until i can get it looked at by them (its currently winter here) so i dont want water leaking through the holes in the door that are behind the pillar :/

If anyone one has an opinion on it that would be great because i really dont want to void the warranty by doing it myself or something .

Take pictures and email it to the dealer explaining the issue and that you can't get in for 3 weeks and what you want to do.
