Side window deflectors

Hi again. New side window deflectors were picked up from our dealer by my wife. These are a jeep factory part. Anyway, I took them out to install them today, and I noticed they had holes drilled on the side of the deflectors. Hmm.? I have installed many of these over the years and have never seen a set like this. They are supplied with metal brackets that get fitted onto the deflector and then need to clip on the top edge of the door. Also have the double faced sticky tape. I am not sure if I like this setup. Anyone else tried these?:wtf

Re: Side window deflectors

Front or rear? My front Weathertech deflectors needed no adhesive or clips, but the rears used two clips per side plus sticky tape.

This is a sets of four. Each deflector has holes and requires the brackets. Uses a plastic screw in a expandable base that will hold the bracket on the deflector. On the outside you will see the head of the screw.
