Re: Smelly trouble in WK2 land

A life time ban was placed on a great looking high school girl . Who over served herself, hurled in the front foot well of my 65 GTO back in the day.

I think flushing water mixed with some white vinegar. Down the outside window might be enough.
I'm not sure but that belt line molding is sometimes held in place by a snap fit. With a little bit of work you can lift it up. Check with others to see if I am right.

How about if you place some small shims to create a gap between the outside glass and the rubber molding across the top of the door. Wouldn't that let enough water through to rinse the glass?

I finally got the chrome trim off. Besides the two screws on each end, there are three metal clips on the door that hook on to it.

Re: Smelly trouble in WK2 land

With the complicated manner in which they put some of this stuff together, it makes me wonder how they have time to build more than a couple of these a day on the line.

Some of it just seems...overly complicated.

I can't imagine something that would smell worse than that. Hey look on the bright side, its not summer and 95 degrees out.
