True...but us porkers do pay more in sales taxes due to the sheer volume of food we partake of.

Like i said, some people dont have the best hygene anyways... Mix that with smoking, and yeah, you get a person who always smells like smoke. If you are always concious of it though, it doesnt become a problem.
Maybe it's just me with a heightened sense of smell toward cigarettes. I always get, really, you can smell it on me? Even the ones who have all the tricks in the trade. I can understand your hygiene call but it doesn't make a difference if you have immaculate hygiene, I will still smell it.

I've never had a cigarette in my life, purely because I hate the smell. I will swap out of hotel rooms on non-smoking floors because I can smell that a smoker has been in there.. These are 5 star hotels that bother to clean. Your car which is a confined space would be a piece of cake.

Growing up around parents who smoked and having a hatred for the smell means I know when people are trying to hide it, it's experience.

Re: Smoking Cigarettes in 2014 Grand Cherokee

Was smoking 3 packs a day back in May. Smoked in the car, smoked in the house, smoked one in bed before I went to sleep. Bought me an E-cig vaping mod and haven't smoked a real cigarette in 2 months. My wife says they are wonderful things. She has never smoked. I'm sure the FDA and EPA will want to start regulating and taxing them since they ACTUALLY WORK. We all know it's about the revenue and the power.

But......the vent visors on the side windows will help suck the smoke out if you keep the window cracked about 2 inches and hold the cigarette near the lower front part of the driver's window. They pull enough smoke out that the wife did not complain even on a long trip and I smoked constantly when I was driving. Plus, they keep you from getting wet when it's raining and you've got the window cracked. I've put them on every car since the wing vents went away on the last American vehicle, which I think was a '97 F-250 diesel (old body style) because the F-150 had the new body style in '97. I kept that F-250 10 years just because of the wing vents.....and didn't even like the truck.

Butts???? There are a multitude of little ash trays/butt cans that you can Velcro to the dash or console, and some that fit nicely in a cup holder. If nothing else, a left over water bottle with a tad of water in the bottom works.

That southpark episode where they treated smokers like lepers comes to mind...

Smoking causes far more expensive health problems than that 450 pounder and that 450 pounder is usually a smoker anyway.

I gave up that adolescent habit years ago.

Can't wait for the day that the whole tobacco industry dries up & blows away.

Smoking is probably the worst thing someone can do to their body, it causes many health issues. The CDC says it is a leading cause of preventable death causing more than 5 million deaths a year. Why in world anyone would start that nasty habit now is beyond me.

I'm sure noone came to the forum to get a lecture. We are all adults and can make our own decisions. I'm not a smoker myself and nor do I condone it; however just like the person that can't put that hamburger down/ Junk food and the person who goes to the bar to drink 10 beers, we all have out vices. Shit I know I do !

I agree and I understand that most people started smoking when they were young and less was known about the health affects of it. I just hate it when I see young people today starting to smoke because they think its "cool" with everything that is known about it. I have seen many people have their lives shortened because of smoking.
