Re: Smoking Cigarettes in 2014 Grand Cherokee

We all must pay the consequences for our decisions. Sometimes the consequences can be particularly deadly for really poor decisions. Next time you're out and about, look around. If you are observant, you will see many people doing exceptionally stupid things. We all have a right to behave the way we want to a certain extent, but when our poor behavior puts others at risk, we need to draw some lines. It's all about will, and in America today, it seems that a lot of people just don't have the will to do the right thing anymore. It's really a shame.

Re: Smoking Cigarettes in 2014 Grand Cherokee

I sometimes think I would rather ride in a car that had a slight smell of cigarette smoke than keep getting all these whiffs of sanctimonious hypocrisy. I would hope that those who claim they are deathly ill from getting a whiff of smoke from 100 yds. away while whizzing by at 60 mph aren't driving a HEMI 4x4 and spewing exhaust fumes in my air. Oh wait....that IS your personal choice isn't it......and it's a legal product.

Some of you need to go on down to the nursing home and look at all these non-smokers AND smokers who are in their 80s and 90s who are now drooling, peeing on themselves and worse, and don't know who they are or where they are at. If it's true that smokers check out a little early....and I'm not convinced that they do.....maybe they have the right idea. Just how long do you want to live anyway....and it is required that you die of SOMETHING.

Re: Smoking Cigarettes in 2014 Grand Cherokee

It's a valid point. Vilifying smoking and by extension smokers is oddly socially acceptable right now. There are a lot more damaging behaviors that are oddly not only off limits from crtisism, but in many respects actually encouraged. Just look at our food industry for one example. Prescription drugs for anything and everything is another.

As they say, your mileage may vary...

I heard wearing a hoody at night in central Florida and kicking some old guys ass who confronts you is very damaging as well. This thread is out of control lol but better than reading what went wrong with someone's jeep today.

This is the last I am going to post on this because it has nothing to do with Jeeps. If your not convinced then I think you need to go visit your local cancer treatment center and talk to some of those people suffering from lung cancer and ask how many of them have smoked. Then you can go over to the cardiologist and ash how many patients he sees with clogged arteries and heart diseases every day caused by smoking. From the CDC smoking caused 90% of lung cancers and 90% of obstructive lung disease and your risks of many other diseases are greatly increased by smoking. I have heard that "you have to die of something" from many smokers over the years, but ask them what they think when they can't breath and are in pain and taking chemo and radiation if they think the same way. That's just a stupid statement. Ya you have to die of something but why make it sooner than it needs to be. You could go jump off a building when your 20 years old and you would die from the fall, but is that when you want to die. I have nothing against smokers, I have several friend and family members that smoke and it really doesn't bother me as long as they don't smoke in my car or house, but to say its not horrible for your health is ridiculous. Did you ever notice how much smoking ages a persons appearance or did you ever notice how they usually have a smokers cough? As I said I have nothing against smoking in the proper places but to say it isn't a bad habit is crazy in my opinion.

Hey, I have an idea, lets go out and Rally and destroy our own neighborhood. Lets go sucker punch some guy on the other side of the fence and jump on another persons car. (Sarcasm)

Dude, neither of us saw what happened to T.M and G.Z., let it go.

Back OT, I can always smell a smoker. But then again, I have a huge honking nose and can smell smells people don't even know they are putting off. But come on guys, don't be the holier than thou non smoker. Life kills. It sucks. Live it while u can.

One of the many problems with this this "Legal Product" (i.e. tobacco) is the second hand smoke it produces affects others...sometimes with detrimental effects (documented many times).

Sounds like we have a "Flat Earther" here...

Tobacco kills...plain & simple, and the illnesses it causes burdens the medical community and our wallets.

You want to end your life early so you won't have to check in to a nursing home someday...have at it...but do the tax payers a favor and use one of your firearms to do it.

Everybody and their uncle seems to be getting on that bandwagon, apparently trying to stay ahead of gov't regulations.

Submitted for your consideration: [no trademarks presumed]

iCigarette from Apple.

UCigarette from the folks who brought you UConnect. You light it, it goes out.
You light it again, it lights up like a Christmas tree and then goes out. etc. etc. etc.
