Wink so far so good!

Hi All

just thought id share some thoughts n opinions

Took our WK2 Laredo to Ledge Point (120ks north of Perth) and with 9 other 4wds had a great week there camping and 4wding - fishing not so great
Our Jeep towed our jayco swan, tackled everything the others did (4 New Pajeros, Kia Soreento, Rodeo, a Prado a 200 series and a WK2 v8).
We went to Lancelin Sand dunes on a 43 degree celcius day , air con running did a hill climb and the whole week our Jeep performed flawlessly!
Now, one of the Pajeros went into limp home mode (underboost turbo error), the Kia drank juice like it was going out of fashion and suffered from cruise control cutout and the prado had a drive shaft boot slip off!
The bloke in the wk2 v8, didn't hold back and cut sick on the dunes like it was a beach buggy and it sounded awesome much to the cheers of the others!
So needless to say at the end of the holiday our "cheaps" as they were sometimes called, earned a tonne of respect!
11k and so far no probs (except that windscreen cowl cover warping!).
Cheers all

Re: so far so good!

Thanks for sharing your pics and story. So often on these boards you only here about the issues. It's great to hear that all is well and you're enjoying your rig.

Also, I wish they US would offer the headlight washers.

Re: so far so good!

There is nothing unreal about the headlight washers, they are over rated.
I wished we paid the same for cars as your guys do, that would be great.
Love to see the Jeeps holding their own against the common 4x4's.
