See the attached chart...

I know, I expected the same size tire, but i guess it is better than a doughnut.
Uhhh... is it me or is the spare 245/65/18? Thus being the same outside diameter (775mm or 30.5")??
I don't have my stock spare handy... so I can't verify with a photo.... but I'm pretty certain it is 245/65/18.

The "65" is the sidewall. The 245 is the width of the tire. It sounds like the spare is the same height but not the same width if those measurements are accurate. In other words, the spare tire well may not be "deep" enough for the trunk floor panel to seat fully. (I'm hoping either the measurements are inaccurate or the assertion that a full size tire would be too thick is inaccurate)

I measured it at the dealer on another Summit (before I got mine) and yes - a full width spare will not fit (unfortunately). I have always assumed that the main issue for the thinner spare is that the designers just didn't have room to make the well deep enough to take the standard wheel/tire.

I stand corrected. The spare is in-fact a 245/65. I looked at it quickly the other day and thought itwas a 245/60 - my fault.

However, it is over 3/4" "thinner" than the 265/60 tire. So, as I have mentioned before, I am unsure how much room there is from a height perspective inside the spare wheel well. Again, I wont be able to fit my 33s in there anyway so it will become extra storage space.
