Microprocessors and other circuit chips used in US fighter jet/US Navy ships technology was built in China! Of course, there is cause for concern by cyber-experts about suspicion of spying on our military technology through those chips. So maybe we don't do that anymore!

I saw it first hand when I changed to bright pedals, the rubber brake pedal I removed was made in China!

I don't know of any mfg's that don't have many parts from China. Even the almighty Harley Davidson has been using parts and accessories from China for years. Nothing new in this global economy.

The sticker on my '07 Liberty said something around 80% American parts.

Today if you want a 'mostly' American car you have to buy a Toyota. Go figure.
