Good stuff! You have a K&N intake? You don't have worries about sucking water into the motor during deep river crossings?

Yes, I have a K&N installed..and yes, I had a cover for the air filter inside the engine compartment, I wasnt sure how deep was the water going to be, some other trucks had snorkels but I dont want to have one installed as foor my daily use in town I dont like the look of it, so basically what I had done is something like a metal box enclosing the air cone, it had an opening in the back to get the air..so at least with that I knew if I made a wave the water shouldnt get in, I was aware that if my hood got completely under water I would be in trouble but I let the trucks with snorkels go before me so I can say there were some risks but minimized as much as possible.
We had a great time..and the GC still surprises me.

Thats awesome! I'm not brave enough to drive my JGC thru terrain like you do! lol! I think I'll live vicariously through your videos, and just be happy to know if I had to, that my JGC could make it thru the terrain that you drive it thru! Always nice to see your vids and pics!

Tell you what....fly down here and I'll let you drive mine, as easy as that, then next time you'll feel more confident...
I wouldnt take it to those placed unless I knew it was fabricated to be in those places...having a Jeep and not using as it is supposed doesnt make too much sense..at least to me.
Having said that, the same invitation goes to whoever might be reading, and yes, go out and have fun, 99.99% your GC will handle it with no issues.
Enjoy

Thanks..but No, haha....not brave at all, there is always a truck ahead of me, I woouldnt go to the places I've been if I wouldnt have seen a truck in front of me do the same...I wish I could say I am the bravest.....but it would be a big lie, I enjoy a lot my trips but they are always guided, meaning there is a 4x4 who always go first...and then we go...but like I said before I wouldnt go to these places on my own, better to play it safe and be able to play it again.
Ive been married for almost 20 years so need to impress my wife !..
