Something to laugh at

A guy at work got a new ford escape and as he's trying to compare it to my Overland he actually suggests he would rather have the escape even if the price was the same. I just thought it was funny.

Ford Escape, we have them over here, thought we were the dumping ground for them, people usually apologise for having one.

He probably upgrade to the escape from a great wall!

I'd say he is extremely envious of your Overlander!

Re: Something to laugh at

An escape? They aren't even close to the same category of SUVs. Even if comparing a loaded up escape with a barebones wk2.

Re: Something to laugh at

LOL wow that's a first, comparing the Escape to a Jeep Overland....nice lol. I'm sure the Escape does what it was designed to do just fine, but by no means should it be compared to the Overland. Simply not in the same class.

Re: Something to laugh at

I visited my in-laws a few weeks back and they were amazed that I didn't drive up in a Ford. I explained to them the mistake that Ford had made with the new Exploder and all the research that I had done to arrive at my decision, then showed them the interior of my new Overland. He then showed me his new Escape. I did my best to be polite.

Re: Something to laugh at

Is his sister the one in the video trying to figure out how many miles you go in an hour if you're driving 80 miles an hour?

Re: Something to laugh at

Let's not knock the Escape. After all, it can tow a full yard cart for 100 miles on only one tank of gas.

I often compare myself to Brad Pitt which elicits the same laughing reaction.
