Well, I don't like the look much - but where we live, when the roads aren't snowy, they are muddy, or worse,,, Frequent cattle drives on the road.

Without the mud flaps, the doors become CAKED with, um, stuff.

So, I have the guards on all my vehicles. Gotta give up style for function.

I have to admit, good point! Form follows function so to say...

BioCRD, nice picture! If you don't mind me asking, are those the OEM tires? If not, what make and size? Thanks!

Thanks.
I got them from JustforJeeps.com in the market forum. They are indeed OEM. I have an Overland 4x4. I put them on over the weekend and they fit well. They were easy enough to install, simple to remove when I don't want them there anymore. You don't drill any holes in the truck or anything like that. So I figure why not and see. I have a few "dirt/mud" roads I traverse regularly. So these mud guards perform a function. It's not like mounting a scoop on your hood and a few stick on air vents.

The tires are the 265/60R-18 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1. I got them from Tire Rack, as a package mounted and balanced, with TPMS, on their inexpensive "sport edition" wheels.

Since I need to have dedicated winter tires for all my cars, I usually get the package from Tire Rack - the shipping cost is ok, vs. the inconvenience of local mounting and balancing on rims I might acquire from another source. I like the Blizzaks, have had them on KJ and my Subarus, too.

@cloud11244
I sure like your Granite rims
better than the ones I've got for winter tires, although i do prefer the 18s to 20s for my conditions...
