Re: Spotted

good stuff joe, yeah i saw the new ones when i rolled passed the dealership too, didnt stop in since i was doing shit- no time. but the dealership upstate called me and said they got a bunch of black and silver ones in. im going to see how they drive on sunday when i get up there.

it does look purttttyy. i drew a sketch of how SRT8 would look on the WK2 at home. no scanner, but i like it. would def pick up a wk2 srt8 for sure based off what the WK2 is already- it can only get better. the first couple years of any new model always blows a corner here and there so by 2012 a mocked up SRT8 version would be nicer too.

Re: Spotted

I saw a pair on the GG bridge yesterday.. got to the tunnel and the Overland WK2 got on the gas hard and so did I (no racing ), there was some definite muscle flexing going on.. it was fun

Edit: and yeah they had Michigan plates...

I waited for the light to turn green and then I took off to catch up to it. I did and I must say the rear of the vehicle isn't bad. So as I was waiting on 56th and the corner of 10th, the dude turns the corner on red! LOL

So I waited for it to turn green and then he was lost, so common sense kicked in and I was like let me pass by the dealer since it is on 49th and 11th. As I pull into the dealer, there it is. I get out and I start browsing around the Jeep. Since the salesman saw me pull up in the SRT, he did the usual salesman stuff, intro, the old what vehicle are you looking at today. I tell him I am just looking at the WK2.

Guys I must say, this Jeep is GORGEOUS. First time I got up close to it. The one at the auto show in 09 was on a pedestal and you couldnt get neat it.

This particular Jeep was a black 5.7 Overland with a Tan interior. The interior blows WK1 away. The fit and finish is awesome, the dash is laid out great. The exterior is beautiful and the vehicle is as quiet as a church mouse when started. I was shocked about that. You could barely hear it running. Even for a HEMI. The dual exhaust also looks great.

And another thing I must say, (and after speaking with Ryan (BlackPepper) on the phone about it) the vehicle is significantly taller than WK1. No quadra lift was on (don't think it is avail yet).

Overall, I will definitely be purchasing a SRT version!

Kudos to you Chrysler, you seem to have hit a home run with this vehicle.
All of this and yet no pictures
