Re: St Louis Dealer Reccomendation
When it comes to car dealers I think "trust" is a relative term, but here's my (limited) experience with Chrysler dealerships around St Louis.
For a while now I've gone to South County Dodge to get parts for my old Ram 1500. The first time I went there the guy at the parts counter seemed to actually know what he was talking about and warned me that the sensor I was buying had been changed mid-year so the one I pulled out might have a metal housing vs the new plastic one. He left a good impression so I kept buying parts there. Their location is also close enough to the highway that it's reasonably convenient, and the parts desk opens early enough to stop by in the morning on the way to work.
I visited Glendale Chrysler once. I think they do tons of business, but their location is terrible. It's so crowded that I didn't even bother trying to find a place to park on their lot and went to a nearby strip mall. I think when I walked on to the lot from one side they genuinely didn't notice me, but that was OK with me because I wanted a closer look at a car and I decided it wasn't for me before any of their salesmen spotted me.
A few years back I went to All-Star to look at a used Chrysler 300C. I was already expecting a hard sell, but it was so much that it was a major turn-off. The car had WAY more miles than they listed on their web site. When I said I was going to look at other cars because of the poor visibility the salesman suggested a generic front-drive import with an anemic engine as an alternative to a Chrysler 300C with the 5.7L Hemi. To top it off, pulling in to the lot I saw a new Dodge Challenger prominently displayed, and I love the look of Challengers but that one had been completely ruined with huge ghetto-bling custom wheels and skinny tires. I've never gone back there.
I bought a part at Lou Fusz Chrysler once because they were close to work. It was an unremarkable experience. However, they moved way out by O'Fallon shortly after that, so their location is way outside the area you're looking for.
