Re: Stolen part off my GC....boooo

i had to take some centercaps off a set of 2013 SRT Spider Monkey wheels. They had to get a very hard knock from the backside to be taken off. They do not come off easy. I replaced them with a set of black dodge ones for my car. They also required a very hard whack with a rubber mallet to be installed. No springs on these.
If someone managed to take yours out with a flathead, you would see some sort of marking.

Re: Stolen part off my GC....boooo

First it was the front passenger's wheel center cap was missing then I notice today the front driver's wheel center cap is missing not too! Argh. I don't even drive it that much but our condo parking garage is pretty open if someone off the street wants to get in. Very odd. Either the dealer service didn't install them right or broke them doing the front half axle recall or I got a repeat thief!!!!!!!!!

Like I said before, probably not stolen but damaged from the service. I use a leaf blower to remove most of the water after washing the jeep, once when directing the air at the right front wheel the center cap came off, and it was damaged and had to be replaced. I tried repairing it with crazy glue it lasted a few months, but one day it was gone.

Re: Stolen part off my GC....boooo

Got the first one on....taps in pretty easy without any tools. The metal tension ring is designed to keep the plastic tabs pushed out which should make it good for many on/off cycles....unless removed carelessly.

Now time to order another one...
