product called: Black Again. Another is Nu-Vinyl.

Bump.

(Also: if you voted "I don't have stone chips" and have a bra, it'd be great if you could mention that. I actually created this thread to help me decide whether or not I get a bra based on how chip-prone the Jeep's paint is.)

Re: Stone chips and permanent road rash: do you have them/it, and if so where?

I'm still thinking about it. One of my main concerns is the installer not doing a good job. So if I were to do it I think I might just have them do the bumper, and if I like that, another part, and if I like that, another part. That way I'm not as screwed if they don't do a great job and refuse to fix it.

Here's one thread about it: Do I need the clear bra or no?

You just tell them it's an unacceptable job, and don't pay unless they get it right.

I have one "nick and its on my drivers side door, a pebble flew up after a speeding truck (not that, that has anything to do with the why the pebble flew up) passed me. Used the Mopar max steel touch up paint (ALWAYS have the dealer get your touch up paint by matching it up with your VIN) and it blended quite nicely I don't even know its there unless I look real close. A lot of people on here the black plastic trim is awful. It really is a savior when it comes to paint chips ect. I also have the chrome running boards so I'm sure the underside of those look like a hail storm hit them haha. I really don't have any other chip damage.
