Exclamation Stupid question... I think

Hello Everyone,

I am a new Jeep Owner, Jeep GC Altitude, and I have a question. How do I put the car into 4x4 mode or is it always in four wheel drive? I figured it would have been like a truck with a knob or shift to place it into 4x4 high, low, or 4x2.

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks,
Bill

Re: Stupid question... I think

Your Altitude has Quadra-Trac I, which is a full time 4WD system. There is no 4WD Low.

Here is a video that explains it:

When I first test drove mine, I spent around 10 minutes looking for the 4WD controls until I went in and the salesperson informed there are none.
