Suede Help

My son wasn't feeling well during our car ride today. He vomited and it got on to the suede seats. Besides the smell, how do you treat it?

I read some of the threads and everyone said to use a hot towel and wipe it. Is this fine.

Someone recommended baking powder but I don't want to chance discoloring the suede.

Thank you for your help in advance
