Re: Summit center console/dash panel color options

The bronze works with the brown, just not with the black IMHO...

I'm not sure it works that way. I was in one with the brown interior and it too had the bronze trim. Maybe they are all just bronze now.

Re: Summit center console/dash panel color options

I made a side by side comparison of the Brown and Black interiors.....literally had doors open to two 2014 Summits parked next to each other. The dark brown open pore wood with bronze trim is in BOTH the Brown and the Black interiors. With the Brown, it looks fantastic and is distinctive....with the Black it still looks really good as the bronze is subtle and the brown wood is so dark it almost is like black. I choose the Brown interior because it was distinctive and I really liked it. i did not choose the Black interior because it was much darker than the Brown and was just too much Black for me especially in Florida...and my current 2011 Summit has black with the new saddle so wanted to go different than all black. I will say, it is my preference for a silver trim and black wood with black instead of bronze and brown wood but in person the bronze and brown wood on black was nice too.

In other words, the bronze looks silverish and the brown wood looks blackish with the black leather.

So that's my 2 opinion during my research...hope that helps!

For Summit they are all bronze. summit takes the decision making out of it pick your exterior/interior color and pick your motor and your done! and 4x4 or 4x2 which shouldn't be a choice either. a 4x2 jeep goes against the laws of ethics. lol

That is identical to mine which is a march 13 build with silver. The change over to bronze was not until august or September or something like that

^^^ Yep - I went through the Limiteds, Overlands, review and options again before settling on another Summit. If they had the Black/New Saddle interior I probably would have selected that again....kinda sad to be getting rid of my 2011 Summit as the color combo is great (just listed it on AutoTrader).

You don't have bronze...you have copper which is exclusive to the Summit with the brown interior. It's a different color than the bronze-tinted materials in other trim levels.

I think the bronze or copper or whatever it is looks great with the brown interior. I just think its weird with the black. I have always been a black and grey/chrome kind of guy. Im not into the brown colors. I was originally going to get the Auburn Summit. It had the brown interior in it and everything looked absolutely beautiful together... because it was Auburn on the outside and brown on the inside. I don't like the look of a Granite Crystal paint job with brown leather. Grey goes better with black... and silver panels on the inside lol.

Oh well, I'm sure I will get over it once I actually have the Jeep.

Re: Summit center console/dash panel color options

The Summit's Brown interior gets the exclusive copper trim. It's not the same color as the bronze-ish silver in other interiors.
