Ordering a Summit with all ORAII features like skid-plates and 18" wheels would be news to me. So far, I haven't seen any Jeep that got "special features" right from the factory.

Your dealer, however, can certainly order the required parts to basically turn the Summit into an ORAII vehicle (except I'm not 100% sure if the tow hooks would fit) and install them.

For what it's worth, I had adaptive headlights on my Lexus IS350 that I had for 6 years. I thought they were very cool at first, then after my stereo install and battery disconnect, they defaulted to off. I went about 2 years before it noticed they weren't on.

Re: Summit vs Overland Questions

An overland with the summits front end would be a great choice. Instead of that "fish mouth" as someone referred to it.

Re: Summit vs Overland Questions

i chose the summit before knowing all the features it adds, based on the exhaust tips being rectangular. It looks a lot meaner than the overlands.

Lol wow. Funny how we all see things so differently! I actually chose the Overland because to ke it looks more like an aggressive jeep than the Summit. Too much chrome on the Summit, no tow hooks, rectangular exhaust to me looks more yuppyish, and even the rims just dont look aggressive at all. The only two things i miss are the hk system and the brown interior.

Re: Summit vs Overland Questions

One thing I noticed on the 2014 Summit is the wheels are quite a bit lighter than the 2011-2013 blockier style 20" Overland wheels.

Very true, Bob...and I love how they look. I'd swap with someone for sure! LOL

The brown interior that is only available on the Summit looks sooooo rich that I almost purchased one because of that. Ended up with a Limited w/ LuxII, 5.7 V8, tech package, and 20" wheel package. Just love it!
