I have this one and love it. It is not cheap, about $60 incl shipping but fits perfectly. Very sturdy.

It looks "strangely" like the Covercraft shade!

Re: Sun Shade

Try this one. Amazon description May be available elsewhere.

FOLDING Premium Windshield Sunshade for Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 - All Models

Has a huge cut out area that fits perfectly around the mirror assembly.

Reasonably good construction, better than K-Mart cheapies by a long shot.

You can jam it into the front of the dash gap, or just lay it against the windshield and fold your visors to hold it in place.

Re: Sun Shade

A large sheet of plastic reflective window coating helps when out in desert areas.

Re: Sun Shade

I am also going to tint my windshield...with that and the CoverCraft I will be golden!! I had the Mopar sunshade in my 08 WK for 5+ years and now my buddy is using it in his 2014 WK2...so it has held up for over 6 years and interestingly enough the WK shade fits in the WK2 (not perfectly live the CoverCraft, but still gets the job done). At any rate, my leather dash is very happy with the CoverCraft...some more info on CoverCraft:

- Fitment is amazing; even with the extended rear-view mirror/housing
- CoverCraft's customer service is AMAZING! Plain and simple, they are a pleasure to talk to and are very helpful
- I like the gold shade with my white SRT; it is different and so far I have not seen another WK2 with the same shade

Re: Sun Shade

I bought a product off Amazon that was designed specifically for the JGC...and it's great. Folding panels that are rigid. I'm not on my regular computer, so I don't readily have the ability to point you to it, but a search on Amazon should give you some nice selections.

Re: Sun Shade

No joke, I have a $12 foam/foil type one from Target or something. Maybe Wal-Mart? It, fits almost perfect and works great. even in the TX heat. Seats/dash/steering wheel are fine and overall the Jeep satys much cooler than before I purchased it. I've used it almost everyday for the past 4-5 months and it's holding up well. I have looked at the CoverCraft one, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

/shrug works well

Re: Sun Shade

I had one of the rigid folding ones for the SRT. I use my sunshade about a zillion times a day every day in S FL and it fell apart pretty quickly. Never used the bag in came with, to much work to put it away and take it back out again everywhere I went.

Fast forward to the WK2. Now have the windshield tinted and a roll up sunshade from a vendor my hubs deals with. Fits perfect and has been super easy to use for almost 3 years now.

Unfortunately with my dash cam, no sunshade is going to properly fit.

Yes I use this; works great.

Perfect!! My dad actually uses one that kind in one of his Porsches...it fits well and is easy to roll up and store behind the seat...he likes the flexibility and it's soft on the leather/seat-backs.

wow, this one looks great. I may have to order one of them. My Mopar one is starting to fall apart and flake up. It lasted me about 6 years, guess i got my moneys worth.
