Take delivery or wait till beginning of May

My 2011 Overland is set to arrive at the dealership on the 27th. I am debating whether or not to wait till the beginning of May to take delivery to see what incentives might come out. Does anybody know of any incentives coming up or think it will just be the same as it is now.

Re: Take delivery or wait till beginning of May

I guess a lot depends on whether you are buying, financing, leasing.....and how anxious you are for your Overland.

It seems doubtful any new incentives on the Overland. If anything, they'd bump up the interest rates on the Overland a bit.

I've occasionally checked the inventories of my local dealers within 200 miles.....inventories are down with most (like 30%) listed as "in transit" meaning they are selling well. Oddly, saw a bunch of "in transit" vehicles that were still in D1 and not even built yet!

If you're buying outright, then waiting until 5/1 or so when the incentives are announced might not be a bad idea since who knows maybe they throw in a bit of cash $500-$1000 (or the dealer sells yours to someone else! It happens! LOL).
