Tales of the Trailhawk - official Jeep GC TH off-road vids.

These came up a bit ago on youtube. A link to the first of the series.

Something interesting I noted right away were the Trailhawk rockrails appear to be completely different than the older Mopar rails. No tube step on the side, almost looks completely stock.

Pretty cool - I like the OEM front air dam delete.

There are two versions of the rock rails. The Trailhawk version are just the rails minus the tubes. The "Mopar" rails are the same, but have the side (step) tubes.

Interesting, I'd never seen the Trailhawk ones before. I ordered the rock rails with my Trailhawk and it says mopar on the build sheet, but this video eludes to the rock rails coming on the Trailhawk as being the non-mopar ones.

Wonder which ones I got.....

Ordering them through the factory(assembly line build), you will get the rails sans any tube. If you ordered them through the dealer parts department, you would of gotten the side tube version, unless you gave them the specific part number for the production version - which was found on the 2013 JGC Trailhawk.

That red one is drop dead sexy. I'm sold all I need to decide on is diesel or hemi. (I really wish they had made the 392 an option on that thing)

In this video.... they have black all black rims... and they are gorgeous. The ones that are not a solid color look too plain. I went online and tried to build one with black wheels but couldn't find that option. Thoughts?

The vehicles in various videos may very well be pre-production samples and could have been outfitted with sample wheels, too.

A can of plastidip and your wheels could look like that too.
