Re: *TERRIBLE* Dealer Service Department!

It is everywhere, there are quality dealers and not so good lurking around every corner. I purchased from and learned quickly that REEDMAN -Toll in PA just was not gonna cut it for anything and luckily there where 4 other options with in a half hour radius to choose from. Sadly we have to go through this process and FCA is of no help. Especially when you have medium to major issues and need assistance.

I hope it works out for you but I do suggest that the picture go to FCA and the dealership management with a link to this tread. Also make sure to do the survey from FCA and be brutally honest about the service you received.

In my book they never finished the work properly.

Re: *TERRIBLE* Dealer Service Department!

It took 1-1/2 gallons of wiper fluid to fill it up. So obviously Aventura CJDR never filled it up on either visit like the service advisor said they did, that they are absolutely supposed to fill it up. Just had to get one more dig in.

Just curious. Did you give them a 10 rating?

LOL --- It's weird, they are so concerned that they get a perfect rating if contacted by Jeep. The service tech asked for a perfect rating, the payment lady handed me a printout which almost begs for a perfect rating (stated something about goes into employee's permanent employment file, etc.), etc. If they just put that effort into being more competent perhaps they would be a 10.

Haven't been contacted by Jeep in any way. If they do contact me, I will be factual but fair - I already vented via this forum, no need to pile on.

Re: *TERRIBLE* Dealer Service Department!

I've had good luck with dealers so far. My only real problem was the DEF tank wasn't full when my ecodiesel was delivered. I didn't think it was worth my time to have them fill it since the dealership was about 30-40 minutes away and didn't want to deal with the hassle. It was probably the first ecodiesel they had seen since it was one of the earliest ecodiesel production runs.

Ya, I'm in the same boat.

Gonna run out my extended warranty in 18 months then move on.

WK2 is a great idea but appears to be poorly executed.

Although the issues are widespread and plentiful, I'm not sure why the fixes aren't swift( well I am...$$$).

I've been a guinea pig for the past 4 plus years and I'm also moving on.

Gonna tale the next few months to watch the Murano and maybe give that a try.

I had my '14 Overland from March '13 until October '14. I bailed before the Sun Visor and Brake Booster recalls were done. Call me chicken. I drove a '15 Ford Escape from October '14 to September '16. I had a couple of oil changes and a PCV hose replaced. For a little SUV it was great and held me while Jeep hopefully got the bugs out of the WK2.

As was my original plan I am back in a Jeep, and so far so good.
