Some of that may be throttle response tuning [i.e. too lazy to look up test results].
Or maybe it's because the Jeep is a lot heavier than a 300

Yup. And the air suspension providing squat when you mash the pedal, doesn't exactly give a rocket like effect. There's a lot of variables here. But I wouldn't touch a 300 with a ten foot pole. Those things look cheap inside and out.

I went from a 14 Hemi to a 15 Pentastar. The steering and whole feel of the GC is lighter with the Pentastar. And that's because it is. The engine weighs significantly less. The power steering has more assistance. Definitely more comfortable for my tastes. I rarely miss the power.

Your answer is probably more politically correct than suggesting that the person has gained weight since driving the 300C.

Re: Test drives today

How is the TQ of the new 3.6 in the 2016 models, has increased compression, new heads and 15% higher TQ down low?

Does it feel quicker than the older 3.6 in the 2015's and back?

To me the 300, even though it got a facelift, just looks so old. It has basically been the same body since the 2005 model year.
