Re: Texas folks group buy?

Thank you so much for your super quick reply. I wasn't allowed to PM you back. Just a little clarification - is the info you gave specifically for a group buy, or were you just recommending someone? Thank you again

Re: Texas folks group buy?

That is who everyone is using. It really isn't a "group buy," just a contact that provides a straight deal with no BS that I found and shared with the forum on request.

Re: Texas folks group buy?

I have been reading through the forum for the past couple of years. I've had my eye on a Grand Cherokee Altitdue for a couple of years. Now that they are back, I think I may want to finally replace my 2002 Acura with one of these beauties. Can someone kindly please PM the dealer information from this thread along with the details of what they offer?

Thanks!

Re: Texas folks group buy?

Hey guys.

Today, I ordered a 2014 Overland 4x4 with:

Ecodiesel (and advanced tech of course)
ORA II
Engine Block Heater
Chrome appearance package
Rear seat DVD

Mark's price was $51,519, which he rounded down to $51,500. That's 11% off MSRP and 5.5% off invoice.

Just as others have said, he made the process very easy, painless, and fast. My first contact with him was yesterday, and by today I was ordering the vehicle. He even lets you watch his computer screen through join.me so you can watch him placing the order. Deposit was $200.

I'm in San Antonio, TX, and he was about $1200 below the lowest quote I could get in San Antonio, so for me it's well worth the 3.5 hour drive out to Houston.

Lankness, thank you again for your help, and thanks to everyone on the forum for helping me in this process.

OK, I might as well be the first to ask:

How did you (Mark) order? I thought the order books for 2014 models closed on the 18th?

Did Mark address that?

I specifically asked him about the order blanks closing on April 18, and he said that as of today (4/26/14) he could still order Overland 4x4 models. I even watched him submit the order through an online system. Now, granted, that doesn't necessarily mean my order will actually get filled, but the way I figure it, the worst case scenario is that I've put down $200 which can just be applied to a 2015 model if it comes to that. I don't mind the wait.

Congrats on the new order.

Re: Texas folks group buy?

Could you pass along the contact info? I think I'm pretty convinced I want an ecodiesel.

Lankness

Can you pass the info for your contact to me. I am in NYC now, but am originally from Houston, and know of the River Oaks Jeep. Used to drive by it all the time down to Rice Village.

Curious to know if he can give me some insight on what I am seeing here in NY.

If you can PM me it would be greatly appreciated, since I can't PM due to low post amount.

Thanks
