Just thought I'd share a little positivity as there seems to be plenty of negative comments on this forum.

Sorry to all those experiencing problems but...

Our 2014 V8 overland is by far the "best" all around ride we've ever owned. We've had BMW (335's and X5), Tahoe's and several Dodge Ram diesels. We were holding out for the diesel but got tired of waiting.

This thing is comfortable, capable, economical and turns heads everywhere. The transmission is amazing, smooth seamless and fast. Plenty of power from the Hemi, and if you drive like my wife gets 22mpg. Air ride is so plush, never harsh and in OR2 super smooth over nasty ruts, rocks, etc. Pulled a couple ATV's around 80mph for 400 miles, hardly noticed the trailer and got around 15mpg. I would by another in a heartbeat. Job well done, happy as I've ever been at 5000 miles on a new ride, just wish my wife would let me drive it more.

Thanks to those involved, keep up the good work.

I agree with everyone else. I had and have my share of issues, but lets just be happy for the people who are happy with their Jeeps. Post in the problems thread if you want to talk about your issues.

To the other people who posted here about loving their Jeeps, Congrats! I am really glad, and I agree that there is an amazing amount you get with the new JGC, compared to a lot of other, pricier new vehicles out there.

I have had my 2014 Jeep GC Limited V8 5.7l now for 2.5 months and I couldn't be happier. I really love it and I haven't had any problems what so ever. Build quality is excellent with no defects that I have found. Engine has plenty of power and transmission is smooth and I love the 8 speeds. And I really love the styling and interior.

My dealer had to purchase the vehicle from a dealer in the Kansas City area which is about 360 miles from here in Oklahoma City. This is our second Jeep as my wife has a Patriot which we have been happy with for two years now.

I've had my 2014 JGC Overland V6 since May 25. After 2500 miles Im loving it even more. About the only issue I had was the occasional "raising" message coming from park mode. All i do is simply switch it back to park mode on the next light. Ive been to Lake George, Poconos, and during the 4th oj July to VA and NC. Everything was perfect. My family anf I couldnt be happier. I also find the engine very preppy and can hold up its own in the freeways. I have never found myself wanting more power. My other car is a 2012 Audi A6 Prestige and my wife drives a 2012 Volvo XC 60, both of which are lighter and more powerful. Comparing my Jeep to those two, i personally find the Jeep only a tad slower for normal driving. And yea I never bothered updating Uconnect or registering. Ill worry about that in the winter when ill need the autostart. This is my first American car btw. So far very impressed :)

1. Your argument with Scott could not be "construed as a Defamation of Character". I don't want to spend the time explaining why, just look it up yourself.

2. No one is judging you on anything. We all understand that you got a lemon and you are upset. We sympathize with you and wish we could help. No one has called you a liar. All Scott (and others) have asked is that you stop bringing your misery into every thread. Start your own thread if you want to vent. That's what AMC2002 did. No one will be mad if you vent in your own thread.

3. There is not a space in between the end of the sentence and an exclamation point, question mark, or any sort of punctuation. Normally I wouldn't point that out, but I did since you are giving everybody such a hard time over nothing (I'm giving you a SMALL taste of your own medicine).

Some people just want to see the world burn... or anything associated with Jeep in this case.

I can't see how anything on a forum using made up handles could be construed as defamation of character - we don't even know who each other actually is.

That is why this forum, and must others have an ignore function. I don't use it lightly, and I haven't used it here...yet. But when a poster becomes an annoying droning sound, it alleviates that unwanted noise. Hopefully anyone that truly wants to be heard, and contribute will realize that and begin editing themself.
