Don't get me wrong - I love Boston over NY in most things - including the Italian food in the N End. But a man must give credit where due and it seems like the Jersey shore is tops in that category.

What's funny is this thread got me so hungry for pizza that the wife and I ran out to a local pizza joint for dinner. It's all YOUSE GUYS fault

I checked the date stamp on the picture. It was taken last fall in October.
Other than that misshap with the tree and the time a nice lady backed into the drivers door in a parking lot, the body was pretty much intact except for a few scratches.

Now for the other issue. Fellas, Fellas. Don't let my name fool you. I have olive oil flowing in my veins and am 100% Eye-talian so I know what I'm talking about. Best pizza on the planet is found in Manhattan, Staten Island, and New Haven.
The stuff they sell in Chicago is real tasty, very filling and something I would order when I am there. It is not, I repeat not Pizza.

I get annoyed that when "our" pizza gets brought up it is always deep dish or more accurately stuffed pizza that they talk about. While I love Chicago style pizza the thin crust in Chicago is the best. The best kind pizza IMO is thin and crispy, not that big floppy triangle crap they have in New York. Again I am generalizing though and maybe some of you New Yorkers have really great thin crust that is not floppy and you get annoyed that when people think of New York style pizza they think of that big floppy crap.

Oh, are we on a car forum? Congrats on the new Overland! I wish my budget allowed for one, but I'll have to settle with my Laredo.

Car forum .. naaah ...

Another reason I don't eat pizza in Chicago is that when I am there I am too busy stuffing myself on the best Greek Food this side of Greece.

Then you must be jealous of me b/c my office is about a block from Greek Town.

Looks like this thread is getting off topic so let's try this. If you want to comment on how great your old ride is or how awesome your new WK2 is (and mine is). Then comment here.
If you would like to comment on pizza I started a new thread so check out Pizza Wars in The Garage forum.

Re: Thanks fot the Memories

It's actually nice to hear from someone about how hard it is for them to leave their jeep at the dealer. I am facing this with my 2000xj. My wife (then girlfriend) bought it at 45k miles and now it has 150k miles on it. It's been through hell and back, always been there when we needed it and still going strong. I sold my 03 Ram 2500 QC (that one was a hard one to leave as well) to buy her an engagement ring (we moved to the city anwyay) and the XJ became a shared DD. We've longed to keep it as a reminder of our past experiences...our wedding, honeymoon, birth of our son, etc...

It became my daily driver when I bought her a 2007 WK but alas, having a newborn and having to travel 300miles a week we are now looking to procure/lease a 2011 (I would take the 2007 WK and she'd drive the WK2). I'm hoping to sell the XJ to someone in the jeep world (NAXJA, Jeepgarage, etc.) but will trade it if I have to.
