I think it's doing a rolling, though, of your last 30 miles on the default settings (I haven't had mine long enough to check everything, but the bottom line shows that). during my drive, the EVIC was right on for around a 400KM stretch of autobahn-- read 11 Liters per 100 KM, filled up 41 liters.
If you're mixing your driving since the last top-up, that rolling calculation will probably be your difference
