When I drove boats, I used to watch them unload 5000+ cars from the massive RoRo's ( RollonRollOff car carrying ships).
They would deliver the "drivers" by bus and then all hell would break lose as they all came screaming out of the ship, parking them all in a line close together. They probably got to 45Mph on the docks, with lots of tire squeal. They were all sorts of makes and models.
Was quite a feat to unload some many cars so quickly. I am sure there was the odd crash, but I never saw any. When they do it often, you get used to it.
