Re: Thinking of dropping my Jeep

Just got called from dealer and the radio has been pushed back even further with July 6th. I explained my frustration with this and would like to have this looked into on why it was supposedly on the truck for delivery 2 times and now delayed again. Just unbelievable..

A bad radio is forgivable, but not having replacements available is not. Making false promises is just throwing salt in the wound.

I think I would try getting in touch with somebody further up the food chain than a customer non-service rep.

About an hour after that call from the dealer, someone from Chrysler parts (I think that is what she said) and informed me they were trying to get a date from the distributor on the parts and would call me back when they get an answer. She did state that it was suppose to be delivered on June 22nd but that date had change but unsure when. I guess we shall see what happens.

That doesn't fix your problem today, but at least it appears that somebody at Chrysler has learned something about customer service.

I learned early in my working career it is better to call a customer with bad news than to leave them guessing.

Ok ok ok guys...I went and test drove a Sierra 1500 over a month ago and will not be buying one because I didn't like it and the price tag was WAY to much to get what I currently have in mine. The transmission has been getting better since they did a full relearn of the tranny so just waiting on the radio. If the radio/gps gets fixed, I'm not gonna get rid of it nor will I have anymore tranny updates unless 100% certain it fixes it (which I highly doubt).

That TSB list on the Sierra doesn't scare me at all as any vehicle will most likely have more than 10 TSB (ours alone has 4 on the tranny).
