On another note, you should definitely get the gym people involved. If not as previously suggested (although that'd be fun) at least make management aware of this situation and perhaps get his gym membership revoked. I mean, how are you (or other members for that matter) going to feel safe there while this guy is around? Something to think about..
I forgot to mention the gym situation. It's funny because my coworkers mentioned the same thing about streaming the video on the TV's. One even said I should plug my Chromecast into one of the TV's.
Anyway I showed the manager on duty the video and said I don't feel comfortable with this person coming to the gym and they said this type of indecent is an immediate suspension of membership. They were pretty blown away by the video too.

I want four of them. Front, rear and both sides. Unbelievable watching a grown man do something like that. Sorry about your jeep.

My condolences also. They'll have to paint the whole side plus remove and reinstall your door handles and trim.
I'd be careful of this guy, something is wrong with him. Watch your six.

Re: This is why you should invest in a dashcam

People suck.

I'm quoting a friend of mine who likes to say that. Here is clear evidence that, at times, he is right on the mark. I'm sorry this happened to you, and thank you for sharing so that we all benefit from your experience. I've never had a dash cam but my want for them has just ratcheted up significantly. I too will want 360, 24/7 coverage, like someone upthread said.

Sometimes, shit happens. And sometimes you get to fling the shit right back at the asshat who dun flung it at ya.

Awesome camera. I was surprised it caught the sound so well. I will be looking into a camera after I get my tires and alignment.

I'm glad they caught the guy. Best way to go to involve the authorities. Sucks when you can't even park your car away from all the others and this kind of $hit still happens.

Re: This is why you should invest in a dashcam

I have a dashcam but only turns on when I drive, after seeing this I have to check on how to have it on 24/7, amazing.

One thing I dont get is : why did he do it ?, it wasnt that you were taking his space, or close by, or anything, it was 100% premediated, he looks and then walks across to your Jeep, either he has a serious mental problem or for some reason he just wanted to go after you...really weird.

Anyways, good luck and I will inmediately look on how to have my dashcam always on the alert.
Rgds.

Re: This is why you should invest in a dashcam

Like Mofsteel said, if you guys didn't already know, the power outlet inside the center console storage area (below the arm rest), provides power even when the Jeep is off (atleast it does on 2014+ models). So you can either tap that source in there, or simply use that to plug the adapter in if it comes with one.

I am also curious to find out what this guys reasoning is for keying your car. Any word on an explanation from him yet?
