Tires?

Hey there! I'm new to the forum and have just recently ordered a MY14 Grand Cherokee Laredo E.

My question is, what brand of tires do the Laredos ship with? We have opted for the 18" wheel package on the Laredo E.

This vehicle is replacing a 2012 Chrysler 200S that had Goodyears to start with that were quite possibly the worst tires ever!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Tires?

My Latitudes only lasted 30k miles. I replaced them with Firestone Destinations AT, and what a world of difference. The vibration I had with the Latitudes is finally gone and the handling and traction is top notch. Jeep really screwed up when they picked the Latitudes.

Re: Tires?

I didn't keep the stock tires on mine, traded them in with under 100miles on them for some M/S2 tires.

I've had my 2014 Limited for a few weeks. I was planning on putting on Michelin M/S2s (I have them on other cars and love them) but I've read a bit here that the Latitudes are "designed" for the GC and the M/S2s don't work as well they normally would.

Have you experienced any downsides with the M/S2s specific to the GC?

Re: Tires?

Thanks all!

Like I said before, we had a TERRIBLE experience with Goodyear tires on the Chrysler 200S (that Mopar is buying back) and were wondering what was shipped on the WK2's with the 18" wheel package.

No issues at all. I am impressed with the M/S 2's.

Re: Tires?

No issues with mine either on dry or wet. No snow yet but I expect they'll be fine.

How about some pics when you have a chance?

I've been looking forward to seeing those new Goodyear ATAs mounted up on a WK2.
