The front end isn't really that different from the extra chrome package on the Wrangler. But I don't understand why it doesn't have chrome wheels when it has chrome everywhere else.
Maybe Chrysler should offer that as a trim package like the Altitude and call it the Depth Charge.
Yes, to each his own; but some people have horrid taste and there is no use pussy-footing around it. This is an example of horrid taste, as is the completely de-chromed look. The first is all glitz and "look at me" bling, the second is cheap plastic, like a city compost container on four wheels. Just my opinion.
I'm actually surprised the wheels are so, um...un-blingie...give the rest of the shiny stuff. Not attractive to me...and I actually don't mind chrome...but it's a subjective thing and what is most important is that the owner likes it.
I like chrome. This is very tasteful. More appealing than all blacked out with plain old black wheels... unless you plan on only driving it in the woods or on trails...
I am not a fan of chrome. I think the Summit has too much chrome on it, especially the mirror. Is there anyway to remove the chrome cover at the side mirror. I talked to couple of body shop in the area that they can't help me with that and dealership want me to paid almost $900 to replace the both side mirrors.
