To Wait or Not to Wait...

Was going to order a 6-cyl OL this weekend, but my dealer just got in a hemi Limited with 20's, luxury group II, TTG IV, and the 730N.

This is painful. Is it really worth waiting until February for delivery on the OL or should i just grab this near equivalent limited?

what would i be missing? - just the air suspension? 430N garmin? should i care? also have been undecided on whether to get the V8 or V6. I'm a commuter with 90% highway miles. Thoughts?

The commuter in you should go with the v6.. there's a thread on how the Limited w/ options isn't much cheaper than the Overland. It might be sound to wait... but it depends on what you're buying the vehicle for.

Where I live.. I couldn't get 20 mpg in a prius if I tried.. there are too many hills. So I have the v8 because I'm screwed on gas anyway. I commute on the hwy but I have to drive out of town to reach it so my commute is probably 50/50 city/hwy.

Food for thought...

It depends on how long your commute is. Mine is all city driving, but its takes me around 10 minutes to get there. (I also usually get to to my office at about 5:30 am, so traffic is minimal. I also live in the hills so the extra torque is always nice, especially getting up my driveway.) If I lived somewhere a little flatter, and had a little longer commute I think I would go V6. Its a smooth, throrougly modern engine, and I don't think you'd be disappointed if you got a V6. As far as OL vs Limited I think if asking price is equal I'd be willing to wait for the OL.

Get the v8. No one ever regrets hAving too much power only the other way around. You will also like the 730n. Get the lockpick for it and you are set.
