Re: Top 10 Reason's the Overland is on production HOLD!

It had been so long since suppliers delivered parts, some of them forgot the address and got lost trying to make a delivery.

They did a bad job of pricing the trim levels making the Overland overly attractive to many would-be Limited buyers who feel the Overland is a better value.

10. The custom upholstery stitching for the saddle interior is a very time consuming process and the supply factory is getting backed up. Last week they added 14 children to the payroll which should help alleviate the backorders.

Chrysler was making money on the Overland, and they don't know what to do when they are in the black....

There better not be any childrens' tear stains on any of the JG Summit orders!

I think Old State may be on to something with the pricing of the Overland. For many buyers coming from other high-end vehicles who decided to return to a U.S.-built rig, the Overland is too good of a deal to pass up.

Re: Top 10 Reason's the Overland is on production HOLD!

11. Due to the heavy demand for the Chevrolet Camaro, Jefferson North is helping out its good friend GM. Now, instead of just running the Grand Cherokee and Durango they have three vehicles online, which has slowed the Overland output by an estimated 35.54%. This is just temporary, normal Overland production capacity should resume no later than the week of May 15th .
