Sorry forgot to answer your last question. With vehicle on level ground measure from the top inside of the 2" square hole in the receiver mounted to the vehicle to the ground.
Next with the trailer level to slightly nose down measure from the bottom edge of the trailer coupler to the ground. You don't measure up inside where the ball rests.
So if the vehicle measured say 14" and the coupler measured 11" you'd need a 3" drop hitch. If the measurements were reversed you'd need a hitch with 3" of rise.
Get the hitch closest to your needs but always go a little nose down before you go nose up.
