Even thou the Dodge Ram did match the Boat pretty darn good!

Re: Towing thread

I been pleasantly suprised about the V6 with this load. Probably 45000-5K wet. Used a crappy tilted/crooked/wet ramp yesterday without any issues.

Re: Towing thread

This is my enclosed bike hauler. Total weight is about 3,000 lbs. I use a load leveler hitch which really gives me a smooth ride. Did about 5,000 kms with it this spring. Sucks the fuel though!

A month ago we added a new toy to our stable to retire my 05 magnum from daily driver duty. My wife and I drove 4 hours to pick it up and towed it back on a double axle car hauler trailer from uhaul. Total load was around 4500lbs.

I love the fiat 500 btw average around 40mpg and get more attention in it than anything I drive. The Jeep did great towing it...cruising at 70 got 16mpg with some pretty significant mountain passes to drive through. Load leveling is great to btw.

Re: Towing thread

I tow a Sea Ray 220 BR and a couple of Yamaha FX WaveRunners. I've been very pleased with the way the Jeep tows. The Hemi is great!!!

Might as well add my rig to this thread, too.

2004 Trailers USA Minuteman Supersport 2-horse trailer. I also have a Loadrite 5'x8' utility trailer.

Re: Towing thread

My set-up. Using a weight-distributing hitch and Tekonsha brake controller. Just about at the towing limit, but works very well. I just keep a close eye on the transmission temps. Hit some fog in the mountains on the way home from the desert yesterday.
