Does anyone know what the gross combined
Weight rating (jeep + trailer + all contents)
Is for a 2014 grand Cherokee limited that has the
5.7L, V8?

I've never seen a GCVWR for the JGC from Jeep but you can somewhat interpret it from the numbers in the link that 14' provided. ~ 13,600 lbs. I have no idea if that is accurate, however.

Your are just about dead nuts...

Assuming 4x4 your rig weighs 5135 so add 1290 payload to the 7200 max tow and your CGVWR is 13,625.

Just curious, why do you want that number as its relatively meaningless unless you are worried about bridges or scales. Are you looking for the IRS GVWR for write off classification? If so its 6800 for that config.

It's a good number to know, especially for folks who want or need to "push the limit" because there is occasionally anecdotal evidence that some states and smaller jurisdictions are thinking about new "fund raising" methods. One can be significantly penalized if they exceed GCVWR and it's quite human to, um...over pack. Folks in the equestrian world are talking about this a lot these days...largely around different issues, but when a GCVWR violation is also present, it really gets sticky.

BTW, I used 5300, 1000 and 7200 to come up with my ball-park number.

Come to think of it I do see signs warning 10000 lb max. I only tow small to medium trailers with motorcycles so I dont think about them big numberz
