Re: Trailer Hitch Covers, Lets See 'Em!

I like to run the hitch with a chrome ball on the end to keep them from parking too close and make them think twice about following too close. Now the only problem is the new Summit has that cover and it looks ugly when you have to take it off and leave it off. Will be looking for an answer to this problem. Maybe a nice clean cut to just allow the arm to show.

Re: Trailer Hitch Covers, Lets See 'Em!

This is how my Hayman Reese hitch looks.

I do like the way the factory bezel looks, but not legal here in Australia.

Why is the bezel not legal in Australia ?

Re: Trailer Hitch Covers, Lets See 'Em!

It's not actually the bezel, but the hitch itself that fits in the bezel, the hitch sits too high to fit in with our ADR's (IIRC).

If I could buy that bezel and have my hitch receiver, 12 pin plug, Anderson plug and caravan camera loom all fitted within that bezel all neat and tidy, it would look so much better.

Here's a couple pictures of my hitch cover. It helps keep the bumper looking good when parallel parking and is a nice step when drying the SFU after the car wash.
